Project Description

Eraora is the third launch by Mural Yachts. She was designed fully in house and constructed to the highest quality and standards using wood/epoxy lamination, Strip plank method.

Eraora is finished with a striking Lauderdale Blue hull and Pearl White superstructure and rig which gives her a sporty yet warm look. She has a modern sailing hull with large internal volume due to her higher than normal freeboard, hard round bilge, gentle sloped shear and a counter stern. She boasts a large superstructure which accommodates a large saloon and provides equivalent interior comfort to motor yachts of equal size.

The design brief given by her owners was very specific. They wanted a yacht with clean lines, minimal clutter on deck, large outdoor space to enjoy the Mediterranean weather, two identical Owner’s cabins to accommodate her two owners, family friendly spaces and functionality with lots of storage. Additionally space and comfort in crew areas was also paramount. Most importantly everything was to be accommodated in as small a length as possible.

The interior colours used were primarily light to give the yacht an added airy feel and to enlarge the spaces as much as possible. Pear veneer, Teak trim and beautiful Teak parquet were used throughout the guest interior with white lacquer ceiling and brass interior fixtures.
